About Book
I learned a lot about having to overcome both as a stuntman on large Hollywood movies like, Mission Impossible III, Thor and The Amazing Spider-man films, (among others) where I had the responsibility of performing stunts on camera.
You know, that nervous feeling you get in your stomach sometimes? It can keep us safe, but it can also hold us back from trying lots of cool new things. At times when we’re scared, our fearful thoughts can escalate, expecting only the worst out of situations. Well, this book is like a toolbox full of tools to help you stay calm and overcome those scary thoughts on path to your goals.
Remember, just like the hero or heroine has to overcome obstacles in the movies/TV shows I work on, most adventures in life have obstacles to overcome too. Often, these obstacles are in our minds. We just need to think more positively and worry less about what others think. Staying calm is key and can really help you succeed.
Writing and illustrating this book was a lot of fun. I started working on it years ago.
My goal was to create a fun story that also provides concepts to deal with stress and anxiety.The methods in this book are not all new, but they really work. I’ve used them personally, both before performing or coordinating stunts, and they still help me today. I hope this book can provide some helpful relief for you too!
